Testing and evlaution

1. Present your final digital image solution in an appropriate format.

Export the files in a suitable file format, this means that the images are the correct 'physical size' but also the most appropriate file type

You will need to submit the exported images with your Coursework

The file types are :
  • Program formats: (e.g. AI, CDR, PSD, PSP);
  • Standard bitmap-based formats (e.g. TIFF, JPEG, GIF, PNG);
  •  Vector-based formats (e.g. SVG, EPS, WMF, AI, DPP)

Look back at the file types lesson and see which types are suitable

  1. State why you have used particular formats
  2. Show evidence  /screen shots of your Exporting

2. Review digital images created by another person and provide constructive feedback.

You have to collect feedback/evaluate, i.e. recognising merits and faults of technical features and constructive feedback on yours and other students work.
  • Think about what you will test and why
  • Look at the suitability of the technical  features which you have used (technical = skills)
  • You could create a test grid or table
  • Does your artwork and logo meet the requirements of the original Scenario criteria?
  • Explain how or how not!

3. Evaluate your solution, considering the client’s requirements and your success criteria.
  • Look at what your original said you were going to create
  • Look at your success criteria
  • Compare what you were asked t create with what you have created
  • Have you met them
  • What are the strengths and WHY
  • What are the weakness and WHY?
  • What improvements would you make and WHY?
