Setting pixel size APPROPRIATE for the image

Lesson 8: The Big Picture
Students need to be able to select and set the appropriate pixel and resolution size for their graphic. For A3 posters they need to be high quality therefore requiring a high number of pixels within the image. 

Learning Objectives:
  • To understand the relationship between screen resolution, pixels and canvas size
    Be able to set the canvas size and find suitable pixel size images

Learning Outcomes:

  • Set Canvas Size for appropriate graphics
  • Select a suitable pixel size for an image
  • Create a suitable sized web banner
  • Include the appropriate sizes for the images
